Sheffield Writing Days

Usually held on the last Saturday of every month, our Sheffield Writing Days run from 10.15am-4pm, with writing exercises in the morning and a critical workshop in the afternoon. We meet at North Church House, 84 Queen Street, S1 2DW (morning) and at our new office on Campo Lane in the afternoon. North Church House is just a short walk from our office on Campo Lane. Click here for directions.

Bring a poem (and ten copies) for the afternoon workshop — or better still write one up to discuss from the morning session.

Places are £30, or £25 concs. Pay on the day — by cash or cheque. If you wish to pay by card, please contact Ellen here.

You needn’t book in advance, but please do let us know if you are planning to attend.

Manchester Writing Days

Our Manchester Writing Days are held in the Manchester Art Gallery (Mosley Street, M2 3JL). This is a wonderful venue for a great day of writing from poems in the studio and from art in the gallery, along with brilliant writing exercises, supportive feedback, and excellent company. Suggested reading and optional writing tasks to be completed between the monthly sessions will further the experience.

Bring a poem (and ten copies) for the afternoon workshop — or better still write one up to discuss from the morning session.

Manchester Writing Days run from 10.30am-4pm and usually take place around the second Saturday of every month. Places are £40 or £35 (concs). Click here for directions.

Pay on the day – cash or cheque. If you wish to pay by card, please contact Ellen here.

You needn’t book in advance, but please do let us know if you are coming along.
