The Poetry Business Partner Readings

The Poetry Business is always looking to arrange readings and festival appearances for its poets.

Arrange a reading at your venue

We regularly work with libraries and other venues to arrange poetry readings on their premises.

This can be arranged in a variety of ways, but most commonly the venue is provided free of charge and the poets' fees are paid from takings on the door. (This is particularly beneficial for bars, cafes, restaurants, etc., where the venue is able to make a return on the attendees purchases on the night.)

We also have a (very small) budget for hiring venues for book launches throughout the year. If you have a venue that would be suitable for a poetry reading and is available at low rates, please do get in touch.

Book one of our poets

If you would like to book a specific poet from our list, get in touch and we will either put you in contact with the poet's agent or handle the arrangements ourselves.

Alternatively, let us know what sort of event you're planning and we would be happy to suggest appropriate readers.

If you are a festival organiser, we would be very grateful if you could let us know the time of year your programming is done, so that we can submit details of our poets for your consideration.
