Timeless Postcard was published by Smith/Doorstop Books in 1994.

your lips dry as a leaf
in Autumn
parading the avenues
in a bright coat

I am the mouth that fits
open slightly slanted
on your mouth
I am nothing but that mouth

your hair is for cities
what memory is
your skin humiliates the poxy houses
your skin is the dream of apples
that the city dreams
you are the only thought
the only light that has no use
to look at you
we eat
invent windows
name things
