Places in our listings directory are free, but paid (prominent) on-site ad spaces are also available. (See below.)

Advertising in The North

The North is published twice a year (spring and autumn), and has a print run of 1,200. Subscribers are based in the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA.

North readers are well educated and mature, with a passion for arts, culture and travel. (Download a copy of the Advertisers' Pack for more information.)

1/8 page (88mm x 42mm) - £30 + VAT

1/8 page (42mm x 88mm) - £60 + VAT

1/4 page (88mm x 88mm) - £100 + VAT

Full page (180mm x 180mm) - £150 + VAT

Inserts - negotiable

Ads can be plain text or image-based, but all will be mono.

Discounts are available for block bookings, and we are happy to discuss 'swaps' with other literary magazines.

List your reading, festival, competition or magazine free in our listings directory here, or hire space for an ad elsewhere on the site. Space is limited in terms of size, but ads can be flash-based.

Please note: We will only consider ads from relevant companies (e.g. literary organisations, book sellers).
